Saturday Hawkesdale/Macarthur vs Wickliff/Lake Bolac, Hawkesdale/Macarthur flogged Wickliff/Lake Bolac by a lot. In the reserves Hawkesdale/Macarthur won by a bit. In the U16’s Wickliff/Lake Bolac flogged Hawkesdale/Macarthur by a lot and in the U12’s Hawkesdale/Macarthur by 4 points.

On the next week Hawkesdale/Macarthur vs SMW Rovers. In the Seniors Hawkesdale/Macarthur flogged SMW Rovers by a lot, in the Reserves Hawkesdale/Mcarthur won by a bit in the U16;s Hawkesdale/Macarthur flogged SMW Rovers by 191 points and in the U12’s Hawkesdale/Macarthur by three goals.

This weekend there was no footy because of the long weekend, but I did go to Melbourne. OK i’ll tell you about Melbourne. We left on Saturday at 8:30am and at 9:00am we picked up some friends on the way to Melbourne. When we got there we chilled out. At 6:00pm we left to see Essendon play Hawthorn it was a exciting game but Hawthorn won. On Sunday we went to the Crown for lunch, I had McDonalds for lunch and then whe went to see the cronicals of Narnia prince caspian it was great. On Monday we went home but on the way back we went to the zoo there was a lot of animals it was great we had a great time at Melbourne.

On Thursday grade 4/5 went to the hawkesdale kindagarten to read books to the kids. I read Rhino Neil to Leo and Thomas. I helped Leo build lego. I helped Mary build two puzzles. There were eight Kindagarten kids their names were Leo, Iszak, Nina, Marcus, Luis, Mary and Kate. The kindagarten kids were suprised to see us.

In my backyard there is lots of trees. There is four trees out the back of our garage, I use them as goal posts for AFL footy and I play cricket on our path but we have to put the trampoline in front of our veranda so the ball dosen’t hit the glass door. The max tempreture has been 16′C and the min tempreture has been 6′Cin the last month of Autumn.

My favorite thing to do is to play sport, bounce on the trampoline, build cubbys, play in the hedge and ride my bike. Our pets are my fish, our two dogs Bomber and Don. I like my backyard it’s the best!

Diamond is a polar bear our new Webkinz from Canada, he came with our letters from our penpals. We got a letter each my penpals called Adrian. Me and nicho have a Webkinz. We had to give our other Webkinz Patch to the 2/3. This is a picture of my Webkinz, nichos and Patch.

At Brauer college’s new track we had zone there. There were heaps of people there, lots of kids ready to compete for running, high jump, long jump, shot put, discus and triple jump. i was in the 200m and the 100m and also the relay. I came 4th in the 200m and 5th in the 100m and my team came last in the relay which sucks anything but last, but there were some very fast teams. Anyway the people from hawkesdale (my school) were Adam, Luke, Lachlan, George, Josh, Emily, Jessica, Chloe, Che and Remmi. 

The week after Easter, we went to Mildura. It was awesome! They had 3 pools and 2 spas (except 1 pool was a spa and a pool). They had 2 tennis courts and 2 mini tennis courts, a mini-golf, BBQ area, games room, gym and a bistro. We hired bikes and rode across the Murray bridge to NSW. We saw how house-boats go through the locks and went for a trip on a paddle boat.

We also went on a day trip to Lake Mungo in the outback. It was dry and windy and we saw bones, fossils and egg shells in the ground. most of the time i rode my bike around the resort, played tennis and had a swim. we had a swim every day!

At Easter I got lots of eggs. I got a bilby, a little bunny, a big bunny, a big easter egg with 3 packets of maltesers with it, a few middle sized eggs and heaps of little Easter eggs. It was the best Easter, except for the one we had at Victor Harbour.
